The spindle valve is what lets air through the gun when you pull the trigger — the M-Model is a non-bleed gun, so air stops at the cap until you do. Fuji’s first move for a sluggish trigger is to lubricate the spindle valve behind the trigger; note also the manual’s warning that flooding the gun with solvent is how spindle valves and valve seals get damaged.
