The lid gasket seals the cup lid against the rim of the cup. It is the first thing Fuji tells you to change when a bottom-feed cup leaks at the rim; if a new gasket does not settle it, check the rim itself for warping or cracks, then for material build-up.

Sys Tim’s Tip: wipe gaskets clean rather than soaking them — solvent makes them swell. A split or torn gasket is the classic cause of a cup that won’t hold pressure.
