Compressor Spray Gun Air Cap Sets

Each air cap set includes a fluid nozzle, needle, and air cap. The nozzle and needle must be the same size — together they meter how much material reaches the air stream — while the air cap can go one size up or down from that pairing to fine-tune atomization. Size by what you spray, not by the gun: thin materials like dyes, stains, and clear lacquers want a smaller nozzle; heavy latex, primers, and filled coatings want a larger one.

• 0.8 mm: Ideal for ultra-fine applications such as inks, dyes, and touch-up work. Best suited for artists and highly detailed projects.
• 1.0 mm: Perfect for fine finishing tasks, including water-based lacquers, sealers, and stains. This is a versatile choice for most clear finishes.
• 1.2 mm: Fine-to-medium output for sealers, primers, and automotive base and clear coats.
• 1.3 mm: Offers a slightly higher output, making it suitable for automotive enamels, catalyzed lacquers, and latex paints on cabinetry and trim.
• 1.4 mm: The all-round mid-range size — lacquers, polyurethanes, primers, sealers, and color coats.
• 1.7 mm: Heavier film build on larger surfaces — enamels, epoxies, primers, and urethanes in the medium-to-high viscosity range.
• 2.0 mm: Very high output — industrial primers, texture coatings, and heavy latex on large surfaces.
• 2.1 mm: High output for heavy-bodied automotive and industrial coatings.
• 2.2 mm: Extra-high output and fast coverage for the heaviest materials.

The MPX-30 ships with a 1.4 mm set in gravity feed and a 1.7 mm set in siphon feed. The VALOR Mini H50 ships with a 1.0 mm set and takes 0.8 mm to 1.2 mm.

Compressor and turbine air caps do not interchange. If you run a Fuji turbine, you want the turbine air cap sets.
