Touch-Up Spray Gun

• Touch-Up (9622): A compact turbine gun for detail work, touch-ups, and hard-to-reach places. It carries an 8 oz. nylon mini cup with stainless steel fluid passages, needle, and nozzle, and ships with a 1.0 mm air cap set. The fan pattern adjusts from ¼" to 6", which is what makes it the gun for small repairs rather than whole panels.
• Bleeder design: Unlike Fuji’s other spray guns, air flows continuously from the Touch-Up whether the trigger is engaged or not.
• Compatibility: Works with all Fuji Spray HVLP turbines — it attaches to the quick-connect coupler on your hose, so no separate turbine purchase is needed.

Dialing in the fan pattern. Rotate the air cap to set the pattern, and keep its collar snug without over-tightening. Narrowing toward a round pattern concentrates the same flow into a smaller area, so Fuji’s manual says to turn the fluid control knob down as you go. Each air cap set includes a fluid nozzle, needle, and air cap. The nozzle and needle must be the same size — together they meter how much material reaches the air stream — while the air cap can go one size up or down from that pairing to fine-tune atomization. Size by what you spray, not by the gun: thin materials like dyes, stains, and clear lacquers want a smaller nozzle; heavy latex, primers, and filled coatings want a larger one.

• 1.0 mm: The Touch-Up’s standard size — fine finishing tasks, including water-based lacquers, sealers, and stains, and the touch-up work the gun is named for.
• 1.8 mm: The higher-output option, for thicker coatings such as primers and latex where the 1.0 mm lays down too little.

Fuji makes only these two sizes for the Touch-Up, under their own part numbers (9624 and 9625) — they are not the T-Model, M-Model, or G-XPC sets.
