What's the difference between a new Semi-PRO 2 and a Refurbished/Scratch & Dent one?

Yes. Air caps are interchangeable, so you can size up or down for different coatings and viscosities without buying a new turbine. See the Air Cap Size Guide for recommended sizes — many shops keep a spare set on hand.
