The air divider routes turbine air through the gun on its way to the diffuser and cap. Fuji lists a damaged or blocked air divider among the causes of an uneven spray pattern — worth a look every time the cap is off for cleaning. Note that the manual tells you not to soak the divider unless there is material in it; solvent is for the cap, nozzle and needle. Included in the 5262 Rebuild Kit.
